Thabang Malaga started playing and singing at the age of 11 and composed all of the unpublished lyrics for his band, LIFE IS HARD. Things were going well for him until four years ago, when he suffered a catastrophic brain injury, rendering him unable to perform what he had founded his life on.
His second year was so severe that he couldn’t move his legs or limbs. He also had to relearn the whole English language. He realized that he was suffering from back ache. He had to relearn the entire universe since he had become disoriented. He committed himself to relearn the most significant aspects of his history.
Thabang Malaga didn’t have time for despair since he was dealing with a problem that would make life unpleasant for many people. He understood he had a lot of work ahead of him to reclaim his life.
He Bagan was working on rehabilitation throughout the third year of his brain damage, and by the third year, he was able to communicate, write, and read again. When he sang again, he began to regain his confidence. To him, singing was everything.
Thabang Malaga began to relearn the remainder of his powers after the second year. He couldn’t even persuade himself to live without all of the abilities that made him who he was. Thabang has spent the last three years relearning the piano, singing, writing, and doing everything artistic.
He still enjoys the songs he created in the past, especially the lyrics. The songs were written at his house.
He has learned to look forward to a brighter future rather than dwell on the past “that the only time to change is right now. Living with the mindset that if you’re doing anything for the future, you’re doing it now “.
